5: BYE Goes to the World's Fair

During the 1960’s Ralph Sears and his family traveled across North America, collecting radio interviews and recording impressions of the family’s activities. The stories were broadcast on WBYE radio, giving friends and neighbors across Shelby County the opportunity to ride along with Ralph, Marcia Sears and their three children Steve, Sally and Randie. Taping a commercial atop the Space Needle gave Ralph a special pride. Listen as he congratulates himself on bringing merchants to new heights.
This collection features broadcasts of their trip to the World's Fair in Seattle, in August of 1962.
